Grief is a natural part of life and it may seem as if now we are experiencing high volumes of grief both personally and within our communities.  This workshop will give us skills to walk this path embracing both grief and happiness as a journey of wholeness. Mending the Heart is a transformative workshop designed to help you navigate the complexities of loss while embracing the possibility of happiness.

Join facilitators Emily Thiroux Threatt M. A. and  Reverend Richard Carlini RN BA for a day of reflection, connection, and healing as we explore:

  • The nature of grief and its role in our personal growth

  • How happiness can coexist with loss and be cultivated in our lives

A supportive space for sharing, learning, and healing will be provided. And you will be given practical tools for embracing both sorrow and happiness on the path to wholeness.

Class will include:

  • An opening to help participants connect and reflect on grief.

  • A presentation exploring various aspects of grief and its impact.

  • A segment focused on discovering happiness amidst challenges.

  • A 30-minute lunch break, with the option for participants to share informally.

  • A "Grief and Happiness Café," creating a space for connection and mutual support.

  • A closing debrief to process and conclude the day.
